And so today it was the “Van Gogh and the Colors of the Night” exhibit at MOMA. It was great to go with an artist friend who’s also a member, so we glided in past the lines and fuss. Plus, seeing art with a painter who knows the subject intimately is such a bonus. I so enjoyed seeing The Sower and Gaugin’s Chair, which typically lives in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

Later, while viewing the permanent collection, I loved seeing children sitting under a pair of Picassos with their art teacher, pencils and pads in hand.

So wonderful.
