Something told me to pack a pair of flipflops in my bag when I left for an appointment in the city today. I was wearing heels, but wanted the option.
And then I went to watch in action and interview Lisa Vinton and Darcy Jones of Only2Degrees talk radio for an upcoming Game Plan column at Toloache, a Mexican restaurant in Midtown. The next thing I knew, they were interviewing me, we were eating fantastic food and they extended an invitation to join them for a Broadway show — Avenue Q.
I eventually interviewed them (stay tuned for the column) and we took in the hilarious show. Frankly, I don’t know how this life coach almost missed seeing it! It’s about finding your purpose and all that jazz.
Delightful, impromptu day. Complete with foot comfort for the commute home.
