As a member of the media, this piece in Time elicited a WOW from me:
Testimonials:
“I don't know why it took me so long, but I found your blog today ... Thanks for expressing your thoughts clearly and authentically. And thanks for wading out into new waters and encouraging me to do the same. It was a refreshing start this morning.”
"I get so much support from your writings - that's why I usually save them for evening reading, when it's quiet and I can think ..."
"Your column changed my life today ... [it] helps me jump into one of my opportunities today with renewed joy."
Oh my. Accountability. I like it.
What a pity that ethics and professionalism have declined in journalism, even among papers that have always been held in such high esteem.
When Obama promised that no hyperbole would come from his White House, you’d think media outlets would have taken his cue. But alas, everyone is going for the headline and the sound byte–and not just Fox. Good for Obama that he’s calling them on it.
The more this guy talks, the more apparent is the necessity of his administration.
