Back in 2005 I heard Marianne Williamson speak in New York of an idea for a Department of Peace. That’s what came back to me last weekend after President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize, so I decided to see where that idea stands.
What followed was an interview with Matthew Albracht of The Peace Alliance, a tie-in with a kid who makes the news for bringing a camping utensil to school, something Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said on CNN’s Amanpour, and subsequently this Game Plan column: Peace and Gray Area.
