People who know my childless-by-choice self might have a hard time picturing the kick it was for me to be on a New Jersey Transit train with Santa Claus, some elves and about 300 special needs kids, but they would have gotten a pleasant surprise. I was simply overwhelmed by the joy, gratitude and flat-out selflessness I witnessed on the annual ride organized by Railmen for Children Inc.
