I strive to write columns that are less reactionary, more original. But this week, I must confess it was the esteemed Rick Reilly of ESPN who prompted a thought and then a bit of a riff. He saw Phil Mickelson’s Masters win as a victory for women. I present an alternate view in today’s Game Plan: ‘Masters’ of Our Hopes and Dreams.
