My heart is full.

Went to see the New York Youth Symphony at Carnegie Hall today. Seeing my cousin Anthony onstage in this historic venue was such a treat. I particularly enjoyed Richard Strauss’ Ein Heldenleben because the synopsis in the program paired with the music brought to mind a memoir. At least that’s my writer take on it.

Then I hoofed it back to Hoboken to catch my client, Mirna, in a concert at St. Matthew’s church held to benefit our local homeless shelter. Mirna sang a song she composed called Can’t There Be and her voice is just so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. The rest of the concert was good for the soul, too.

An amazing day of music.
