One of the things I noticed while among professional coaches at Conversation Among Masters (CAM) in New Mexico last week was our penchant for keeping each other accountable, even in the most casual conversations.
Here’s a bit more on my takeaway regarding The Art of Accountability in today’s Game Plan.
Yes, when we were in coaching school (2003) and for years after, we buddy coached each other and the biggest thing was always holding each other accountable to our commitments… often all it took was a little check in by email “Did you complete your….” and that was really helpful.
That’s the power of coaching! One does not just dream and plan, but the coach is there to make sure that those dreams and goals become a reality.
Discovering coaching was one of the greatest things in my life with the biggest impact, on my personal, professional, and my spiritual journey (made me calmer, a better listener, less judmental, and a better communicator).
I credit coaching (and mentoring) for most of my success I accomplished in the past 20 years.
