Surely at some point someone will dig way below the surface of this sick gunman’s actions and try to figure out what circumstances led to his evolution into such a disturbing state. In the meantime, we will be subjected to analysts’ Monday morning quarterbacking, black-and-white thinking and sheer ignorance about mental illness.
