Last night I went back to Buddhist meditation class after a short hiatus and it felt great. Like going to the gym or writing my Morning Pages (a la The Artist’s Way), meditation class is one of those things in my routine that I really see the benefits of when I STOP doing it. Seems extreme, but it’s so true.
Know what it feels like after two weeks of not working out? Of not setting a tone for the day with Morning Pages? Of not setting aside some sacred time for spiritual nurturing?
Drab. Out of sync.
No need to go there.
