I’m back. I’m back. I’m back.

Had a really good holiday week that included seeing my brother’s and sister’s Christmas trees, having lunch with my cousin’s wife (who is really more a friend), having another lunch with my mother, aunt and cousin, and spending time with a few friends. Also baked cookies, did some light shopping and just hung out. Nice.

But it is also wonderful to come back to my urban world because it fits me like a glove. Just came from my first workout in a week and my body is whispering ‘thank you’ over and over again. I so enjoy this week before the New Year is ushered in.

While I was gone and computer-less, two Game Plan columns ran on the FoxBusiness.com website. The first, called Seven Layoffs and Still Smiling, is about a guy named Assaf Kedem who has the most refreshingly positive attitude about being laid off that I’ve ever encountered. The second is about the movie “The Holiday” — which I highly recommend — and the life lessons I extracted from it. It’s called Let in ‘The Holiday’ Magic.

It’s nice to be home.
