So excited (read: not even a little) about the upcoming mayoral election that has been bestowed upon Hoboken thanks to the one who didn’t last a month before being arrested.
So now I have seen the same commercial three times this evening asking me to sign a petition to get acting mayor Dawn Zimmer to resign her council seat while she’s running for mayor. The person sponsoring this ad has already lost my vote.
Whether in agreement with Zimmer on the issues or not, this town should be thanking her for stepping in for the guy who betrayed his constituents, not punishing her for holding two seats.
She’s the acting mayor. Get over it. And please, get a grip.
