As regular readers of this space know, once I sink my teeth into something you’re going to hear about it a lot. So it should be no surprise that all my Mary Oliver talk this week would wind up seeping over into my latest column. In fact, one of her poems is my launching point for my thoughts on what the devastation in Japan means to those of us so far away.
