Sometimes it’s all about impeccable timing, albeit unplanned. I spent this early morning writing a Game Plan column about the Donald Trump potential candidacy for president. It was to be for Friday publication, but as I was about to hit the ‘send’ button I saw on my Twitter feed that President Obama was giving a press conference regarding his birth records; it was just minutes away.
I informed my editors, tweaked the piece after the conference and shipped it in. Voila.
