Good stuff from my morning reading.

First up, from Garrison Keillor’s Writer’s Almanac, on this day in 1845 Robert Browning met Elizabeth Barrett. She said, “I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you.”

Second, from Mark Nepo’s The Book of Awakening, ” … [I]f you can, give up the want of another and be who you are, and more often than not, love will come at the precise moment you are simply loving yourself.”

And third, this Rainer Maria Rilke quote from a friend’s Facebook post, “We need in love to practice only this: letting each other go. For holding on comes easily — we do not need to learn it.”
