I’m always honest, but for whatever reason the move I Don’t Know How She Does It — originating from the Allison Pearson novel — brought out my scathingly honest side. It’s delightful and thought-provoking, thanks in part to Sarah Jessica Parker’s Kate Reddy character.

After screening it earlier this week, I also had the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with Pearson and Parker and enjoyed it immensely. But my choices are not the majority’s choices (see reference in the column to Elizabeth Gilbert from her book Committed), so it pushed my thinking a bit.
