Conversations (hard to call them interviews) with Nora Moran, director of the Dog Tags Program of Puppies Behind Bars, and Judson Shaver, president of Marymount Manhattan College led to a piece that intersects two special lives. Moran has turned her life around thanks in part to a bachelor’s degree program offered by MMC at Bedford Correctional Facility for Women. Shaver has insured this program will exist into perpetuity.
