Take a step back, please

My history of not liking to be encroached upon goes back to my days in a baby carriage, at least according to my mother. A few experiences lately have reminded me of this and how that translates into adulthood. In short, beware if you’re trying to sell me something. Aggression sends me sprinting.

Loved your article. I am a CPA and our profession is not know for ‘making the sale’, we are not born to talk:) But our firm has a great team and find we are a bit different than the average CPA — we enjoy being out there, mingling and meeting new people. I often wondered if I was not aggressive enough as I usually get side tracked asking those of their current vacations, children, what have they read lately, etc. and leaving business for last or not even getting to it. Your article was refreshing. I think I will continue as I have and not worry about ‘pushing a sale’.
