A dance

He is a puppet.
She is a puppet master.

She pulls a string.
He reacts.

She pulls another string.
He reacts again.

She pulls the string harder.
He jumps.

She keeps it up.
He keeps jumping.

She says “Jump.”
He says, “How high?”

It’s their dance.
