Here’s one of the truly great things about living where I live, essentially a 10-minute subway ride into Manhattan. When I see an ad in The New York Times on a Sunday morning telling me there’s an exhibit of John Lennon’s artwork in SoHo, I can be spontaneous and go that very afternoon.

And so I did. Presented by Yoko Ono and Bag One Arts, it was called Imagine, A Tribute to John’s 70th Birthday. I loved the whole of the experience, taking in Lennon’s message on a gorgeous day in one of my favorite Manhattan neighborhoods.
